Typical Tasks & Duties

The students' tasks and typical duties include providing care for babies and toddlers, ensuring the safety of children, promoting language development through storytelling, drama, music and discussions and assisting children with their toileting and personal hygiene.

Student Requirements

The student needs to have a positive attitude to working with children and have an understanding of children's interests and developmental needs. A tidy and clean appearance is required as well a genuine interest in child care. The centre requests that the student has an enthusiastic manner and good interpersonal skills and able to follow directions quickly and work within the team.
The student will need passion and commitment in the work place to enjoy this opportunity.

Dress Requirements

The student will need to dress in black pants, covered shoes and polo top.

Special Transport Requirements

Student to make own way to placement.
