Skills You Might Learn

The student will have the opportunity to experience the following, using hand tools to assist in a job, perform manual and mechanical cutting and apply basic fabrication techniques.

Typical Tasks & Duties

This position will include duties such as tidying the workplace, assisting other employees in their roles and participating actively in all workplace activities. Maintainance of tools and equipment plus stock are other important roles.

Student Requirements

The students must have completed the OH&S module in WRS VCAL or else have begun the OH&S module in the relevant VET course.

Dress Requirements

Students are to wear neat casual dress appropriate for the work place plus sturdy work boots.

Special Transport Requirements

Students must make their own way to the workplace as there isn't public transport in the Nyah road.
