Work Experience Industry Taster Project is an opportunity for students to gain exposure and experience in a range of industries so that their career planning is more informed.
Students will participate in an induction to the Horsham Regional Art Gallery and learn about the range of careers available.
Students will participate in a range of entry level activities in the pack up, preparation and set up of an art exhibition.

Employability skills such as communication, problem solving, learning, organising and planning, use of technology and team work.
Typical Tasks & Duties
Students will participate in an induction to the Horsham Regional Art Gallery and learn about the range of careers available.
Students to ask questions.
Students will participate in a range of entry level activities in the pack up, preparation and set up of an art exhibition. Students will learn about curating an art exhibition.
Student Requirements
Students to be physically fit and able to move items for an exhibition with safe handling procedures.
Students to prepare 3 questions about the art gallery, careers and how to curate an exhibition.
Students to bring pen and paper.
Leave phone in bag on silent.
Students to BYO water and lunch (can purchase lunch in half hour for lunch if they choose)
Dress Requirements
Sturdy, closed toed shoes
Neat casual clothing, suitable for moving items and presentable to public.
