This placement is in a very modern facility. Students will assist with Care by being involved in the lifestyle program. Staff at Kerang District Health are very friendly and management is very positive about the work experience program.

Skills You Might Learn

Students will gain some hands-on practical experience while assisting staff with Community Health and Care Services. The students will be working in real-life scenarios in a real life environment.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Students will work with Kerang District Health staff to assist them in their duties in relation to the life style or activities program. Students will be required to be an active participant in all workplace practices while being closely supervised by staff.

Student Requirements

Students will be offered a variety of experiences across multiple services and sites.

Dress Requirements

Students must wear neat casual dress appropriate for the work place. Black Pants, No singlet tops, a work shirt may be provided depending on the opportunity terms, enclosed black shoes are required for work placements.

Special Transport Requirements

Students will need to arrange their own transport to work.
