One Day Studios was founded in 2020 by Richard Pritchard, Dave McIntyre, and Gareth Colliton. One Day Studios is a not for profit digital arts and technology media hub, situated in the historical Fletcher Jones Factory in Warrnambool the aim was to create a thriving digital and creative media hub in the south west. The aim was to create a thriving digital and creative media hub in the south west, for both young and old alike. One Day Studios wanted to bring STEM skills to those across the area who might not have access to learn these skill.

Skills You Might Learn

The student will gain an understanding of how a production studio works, how to work with different artists and designers. The student will gain experience in working as part of a team and preparing to design and set up layouts, photography, and computer generated designs.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Student will be engaged to follow different artists and designers for the week. Tasks will vary from day to day and will include some design work, assisting with design production and printing, assist with educational material, prepare layout for a range of products including photography, illustration and computer generation imagery.

Understanding of colour and form
Good communication skills
Able to work as part of a team
