Typical Tasks & Duties

Students will work with, and under the supervision of experienced staff. There will be a range of tasks and duties you may undertake which will contribute to developing your skills and knowledge of this industry. Over the placement you may have a chance to experience different aspects of the centre including: Client assessment, program prescription and exercise demonstration, cleaning, general admin and setting up equipment.

Student Requirements

Snap Fitness is a fun and active environment and you will be assisting customers to help deliver the experience. You must have a genuine interest in entering the Sport and Rec industry. This role is (as expected of all employees at the centre) a multi-skilled one and you will be required to undertake all sorts of tasks to ensure customers have a positive experience. That includes also cleaning surfaces by the end of the day and setting up equipment etc. It is vital that you are punctual and reliable. Please check with employer regarding any COVID safe practices and immunisation requirements before starting placement.

Dress Requirements

Students are required to wear runners and black workout pants. Hair is to be neat and tidy at all times.

Special Transport Requirements

Public transport available to placement. The shop is located next to Coles, 3rd Level in Dandenong Plaza. If traveling from other suburbs use bus 828, 844, 892, 893 to reach the destination.
