Skills You Might Learn
Students will be working as part of the team. There are opportunities to gain a variety of experience in painting, welding, fabrication, timber construction, and electrical work. As safety considerations are paramount these skills will be gained whilst observing and assisting the trades people.
Typical Tasks & Duties
Student will be assisting trades people with all aspects of the operation including reading engineering drawings, collecting components for jobs, cleaning work spaces, observing/assisting in various painting ,welding, grinding, metal and wood fabrication, electrical and packing of customer orders under supervision. Using cordless sanders and cordless drill tools.

This work placement will suit a student who wants to experience a variety of roles, working alongside experienced professionals. Bring your creativity and problem solving skills.
