This is a stunning opportunity to work for a premium furniture producer. They use a combination of traditional techniques and the latest equipment including CNC cutters to produce a wide variety of products.
Skills You Might Learn
Communication skills with team members, following safety signs and procedures, working to a production schedule and completing all tasks as directed. There will be some work bench/area clean up involved too.
Typical Tasks & Duties
Students can expect to assemble draw boxes, work on an edge sanding machine, use a pedestal drill under supervision, tailing out behind various machines (which means assisting with processing timber on and off machines) and learn the process of square dressing timber.
Student Requirements
Students must be prepared to work in a large workshop setting, be ready to learn and show enthusiasm and passion for the job.
Dress Requirements
Work boots and work clothes.

There is a bus route nearby that links to the train.
