Typical Tasks & Duties

Students completing a placement here can expect to carry out back of house operations - Including but not limited to food preparation, inventory/stock control and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Student Requirements

Students should have an interest in Hospitality and Patisserie. They should also be enthusiastic and willing to learn, punctual, neat presentations, and have a polite manner.

Dress Requirements

Chef Uniform, which is to be put on and taken off at the cafe. Facilities are available to change at the café.

Special Transport Requirements

5 min walk from Canterbury or Chatham station. Other public transport is also available.
