Construction assistant

Broadford men's shed are keen on mentoring young people. Students have the opportunity to restore historical equipment along with general wood working tasks. Students will be working with tools and PPE will be provided.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Repairing items, restoring which includes, sanding, polishing, painting, following instructions, making cheese boards, restoring items from the Broadford Historical Society. Students will be using tools and trained on how to use them correctly.

Student Requirements

Arrive on time ready to engage in tasks allocated to them. Work wear preferred, closed toe shoes at all times.

Dress Requirements

Workwear, closed toe shoes, boots,

Special Transport Requirements

Students will make their own way to the shed.
