This is an exciting opportunity to learn from a local landscaper with over 35 years experience. PJ's works all over Melbourne and offer a complete landscaping service, including fencing, paving, pagolas, landscaping, pools and concreting.

Skills You Might Learn

This is a hands on labour intensive placement. You will learn about soil preparation, leveling ground, laying gravel, planting, paving, construction of retaining walls and some concreting. You will gain knowledge of workplace health and safety practices on the job, team work, and gain knowledge from an industry expert!

Typical Tasks & Duties

Students will work with the team at PJ's Landscaping to learn about all aspects of domestic landscaping, preparing and planting new gardens and updating existing gardens. Task will include; paving, fencing, pagola construction, pools, turf

Student Requirements

The employer is willing to pick students up. They will need a hat, high vis vest and work boots. Students need to be prepared to work in numerous locations.

Dress Requirements

Students must wear a hat and a high vis vest.

Special Transport Requirements

Transport can be negotiated with employer
