Exciting Opportunity for Term 4 2019!

The South East Local Learning & Employment Network is a non-for-profit organization who's aim is to assist young people in achieving their Yr 12 (or equivalent) qualification and transition into the work force. There are 31 LLEN organizations across the state of Victoria and they all work largely under contract to the state Department of Education and Training. The position of graphic designer will also involve coordinating SELLEN's Social Media marketing efforts.

Skills You Might Learn

Students will learn to work as a part of a team that have different roles and skill sets. This will mean that the student will need to be confident in communicating their Design work to people who do not have a background in the field. In addition this will require the student to tease out a clear and concise brief to ensure they deliver a design that meets the client's expectation.

Typical Tasks & Duties

You will work as part of a small team, and use different forms of media, design and print methods to create visual media and marketing material. Liaise the the team to design marketing material that will be used to promote the SWL Program.

Student Requirements

***This position is BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) only. this device will need to have (a minimum) Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Students Must have previous experience with graphic design concepts and practice.

Dress Requirements

Professional casual dress is required.

Special Transport Requirements

The SELLEN office is 5 min walk from the Dandenong train station.
