Typical Tasks & Duties
Students will have a variety of duties including being active with the dogs in care, feeding and watering, assisting with mixing of food, liquid formulas, medications or food supplements, collecting and recording information about animals and assisting with laundry and keeping animal areas and equipment clean, neat and tidy. Students may also be involved in general grooming of animals, which may include eg. washing, brushing, clipping and trimming animals’ coats and nails and cleaning ears.
Students need to energetic, hard working, honest, able to listen and take direction and be a good decision maker.
Comfortable clothes that may also get a little wet and soiled from your contact with the dogs. Comfortable closed toe non-slip footwear. A work apron may be provided.

The business is in Racecourse Road Flemington and is close to all form of public transport.
