This is an exciting Project Manager work placement opportunity. Work with project managers to gain skills and knowledge to quote structural steel and construction jobs and oversee projects from start to finish.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Students will undertake a variety of tasks, whilst working alongside CPE Project Managers.
Main tasks include:
- preparing tenders (quoting for jobs)
- preparation of job packs for site and workshop tasks
- procurement - the process of finding, agreeing terms, and acquiring goods, services, or works from an external source, often via a tendering or competitive bidding process
- attending site meetings/inspections

Student Requirements

Once a student ‘shares an opportunity’ with their Teacher, then the company would prefer a Teacher to make contact to advise a student will be calling to organise an interview – please ask for Amanda Herezo (HR Manager).
- Student organises interview
- Attends interview, advised of role, key aspects they need to be aware of, including company values, confidentiality etc.
- If appropriate, dates identified and Structured Work Placement locked in.

Dress Requirements

Students must adhere to the following dress requirements:
- Steel cap boots
- Long pants (jeans okay)
- Polo shirt

Special Transport Requirements

Cobram - VLINE (public transport). CPE located walking distance from Cobram train station
