Skills You Might Learn
Understand One-to-One and/or Group fitness sessions. Motivate and challenge clients and other participants. Communicate clearly, review exercise plans monitor progress and be organised . Preparing client sessions, set up and pack up of activities, engaging positively with clients with a diverse age and ability. You will gain a great understanding of the industry.
Typical Tasks & Duties
Students will assist experienced, qualified staff to help both members and casual visitors. With a strong emphasis on customer service you will cater for people of all ages and all levels of fitness both in the gym and with stadium participants. You will be on the gym floor in the health club with a great range of equipment. Students will be required to provide customer service , setting up and packing up of rooms.

Must have a genuine interest in personal training willing to complete Cert III in Sport and Recreation (cert II students will be considered) and working as a fitness instructor. There is also a need to have a strong understanding this is a client centered role so students need to be friendly, non judgmental and able to help customers feel comfortable.
Students are required to wear runners and black workout pants along with a school polo or similar. Hair is to be neat and tidy at all times
