This is a sole trader engineering business. It has been operating for quite a few years. The workplace is well set out and maintained. Corey is keen to help a motivated young person to learn engineering skills and students will be exposed to a variety of engineering projects.

Students will apply basic fabrication techniques including bending and shaping engineering materials. They will use hand tools to assist in a job.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Students will apply basic fabrication techniques including bending and shaping engineering materials. They may also use hand tools to assist in a job. Mainly the student will assist other staff in their roles.

Student Requirements

Students must have completed the OH&S module in WRS VCAL or else have begun the OH&S module in the relevant VET course.

Dress Requirements

Dress must be neat casual suited to the workplace and this includes sturdy work boots.

Special Transport Requirements

Transport Students make their own way to work as there is no public transport.
