Skills You Might Learn

Students will use and maintain tools and equipment; apply safe work practices; participate in basic vehicle servicing; observe experienced mechanics; comply with OH&S procedures.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Students will have the opportunity to spend time with diesel mechanics, panel beaters, boiler makers, vehicle body makers and spray painters. Each experience will vary depending on a student's areas of interest, training and ability. This is a large and busy employer offering genuine opportunities for young people to try out the industry and to progress and grow.
