An opportunity exists with Seymour Railway Heritage Centre Inc. (SRHC) for a student interested in gaining work placement in Business Services. SRHC was formed in 1983 by a group of railwaymen from the former Seymour Locomotive Depot which was closed under rationalisation of rail services in Victoria. The successful student will work alongside administrators and gain a vast range of exposure to all aspects of business services and administration.

Typical Tasks & Duties
Under the supervision of an administrator, students will undertake various tasks:
- reception desk
- be the first point of contact for customers
- accounts
- payroll
- data input
- reconciliation
- answering the phone
- filing
- other duties as directed
Student Requirements
Students should have an interest in business services and customer service and a willingness to learn:
- Hardworking with a can-do attitude.
- Willing to take on duties as directed.
Dress Requirements
Students should be dressed in neat casual with closed shoes.
Special Transport Requirements
The student needs to be able to travel to the host location
