2018 Opportunity!! This placement will have students out and about on a variety of farming enterprises. The business is involved in offering agronomy services to farmers . This is a great opportunity for a student find out more about a booming area of the agribusiness sector.

Skills You Might Learn

Students will learn product knowledge and will interact with clients while under supervision. They will learn to work as part of a team while assisting the agronomists with crop monitoring tasks including taking samples and weed counts.

Typical Tasks & Duties

This position will include duties such as helping the agronomist and other employees to assist them in their roles either on farm or in the warehouse. Student will gain valuable insight into the role and responsibilities of an agronomist.

Student Requirements

Students must have good literacy and numeracy, be a people person with good communication and relationship building skills and have an interest in plants.

Dress Requirements

Students are to wear neat dress appropriate for the work place plus closed in shoes and a hat.
