Students will extend their knowledge of the health industry, gain a greater understanding of the various roles and professions within a clinical setting, learn about Occupational Health and Safety protocols and apply their training in a practical setting.

Typical Tasks & Duties

During this placement students will accompany and observe health professionals; take part in lifestyle activities; assist within an Allied Health program; interpret medical terminology; comply with infection control policies.

Student Requirements

Suitable for VCE or VCAL student as only one day out of school a week. Applicants from year 10 and 11 welcome to apply.

Dress Requirements

Black pants or skirt, closed toe shoes and school polo shirt.

Special Transport Requirements

Students are responsible for getting to and from work. Bus and train station across the road.
