This opportunity would best suit a hospitality student with an interest in health and well-being.
Skills You Might Learn
The student will develop their capacity for customer service. and their understanding of how to run a hospitality business. They will also learn the importance of how to run a healthy and hygienic food preparation environment. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to learn about healthy living and a balanced diet and how to incorporate it into their lives.
Typical Tasks & Duties
The student will be involved in the day to day running of a bustling cafe. This will include food preparation, customer service, maintaining both the front of house and back of house environments and working cohesively with colleagues and customers alike.
Students must have a keen interest to work within the industry and a willingness to learn. Students must be willing to follow instructions and work within a team.
The student must wear comfortable, closed toe shoes and appropriate attire
Special Transport Requirements
Students are required to get to and from the workplace via their own means. Hampton train station is a 15 minute walk from Soul Press Brighton.
