This family run business is a full service automotive workshop located in Montrose. A fantastic SWL opportunity exists for a student who is genuinely interested in the automotive industry. This is a Repco Authorised Service centre, that employs state of the art diagnostic equipment and repair methods. The fully qualified technicians have access to the latest service information, bulletins and training through the Australia wide Repco Auto-tech program.

Skills You Might Learn

Students will use and maintain tools and equipment; apply safe work practices; participate in basic vehicle servicing; bleeding brakes, checking lights,observe experienced mechanics; comply with OH&S procedures.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Students will have the opportunity to observe and assist in servicing of vehicles and mechanical repairs in this workshop. There may also be an opportunity for hands on experience in bleeding brakes and checking lights.

Student Requirements

MUST have a genuine interest in the automotive industry. Punctuality is important. See Dress Requirements for further information.

Dress Requirements

Students should ensure that they wear steel-capped work boots and dark coloured pants- no denim. Employer will provide a branded shirt/jumper. *Safety glasses are required.

Special Transport Requirements

There are buses from Lilydale, Croydon and Mooroolbark stations.
