The staff at the Macedonian Community Welfare Association is warm and welcoming and interested in offering opportunities where the student can develop their strengths. Although the office is female-orientated they are open to young men and women applying for the position. SWL students looking for a creative opportunity to demonstrate IT skills or multi-media abilities will be able to explore mini projects that can be utilised by MCWA. The opportunity can be one day a week or week blocks. Students 18 and over are encouraged to apply.

SWL students will attain various business admin and IT skills along with developing stronger employability skills. This is an ideal place to demonstrate communication skills in a cross-cultural context and working effectively in a team. Depending on the student's skills and interests there will also be an opportunity to discuss mini projects that can be completed during the SWL period.
Typical Tasks & Duties
The SWL opportunity offered at MCWA involves office administration-based activities. There will be some filing, typing, tidying and using office equipment. For those with computer and multimedia skills, a project can be negotiated to match the interests and competencies of the student and completed on site.
Students who are completing an IT, Multimedia or Business certificate are encouraged to apply for this opportunity. A positive and friendly attitude with a can do attitude is most welcome. At the moment the position is available to students who are 18 years of age or over.
The dress requirements for this office opportunity is NEAT CASUAL. Clothes should be clean and tidy with no ripped jeans or revealing tops or skirts.
