Food and beverage attendant

The Alexandra Hotel and Cafe is a family restaurant, cafe and accommodation. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right student interested in hospitality and tourism to work along side the owner and other staff to gain exposure to all aspects of the business.

Skills You Might Learn

Students will gain a variety of skills in the hospitality industry:
- food preparation
- food handling and hygiene
- customer service
- knowledge of the industry and common industry practices

Typical Tasks & Duties

Students will be given the opportunity to work in all areas of the business including:
- kitchen including food preparation
- waitressing in the cafe and as barrister
- front of house greeting customers and retail

Student Requirements

Dress Requirements

Students should be well presented. Wear black and white with non slip shoes
